Patients with hypoparathyroidism may have sypmptoms consistent with physical, emotional and cognitive dysfunctions which may cause impaired quality of life (QOL). We included 266 patients (20–79 years; 231 women/35 men) who were being treated for hypoparathyroidism. They were taking conventional therapies for hypoparathyroidism; calcium, active vitamin D and magnesium when needed.
